  • +£15 for early or late appointments outside normal hours

  • +£20 for emergency same-day appointments

  • +£25 for appointments on non-working days

To enquire or book, please message me via Instagram or Facebook @somelashgirl, or email somelashgirl@gmail.com. A £10 deposit plus the additional fee will be required in advance.

How do I book a patch test, and when should I get it done?

  • To book your patch test, send me a message on Instagram or Facebook @somelashgirl, or email somelashgirl@gmail.com with your full name and appointment date.

  • Patch tests are super quick and take just a few minutes.

  • Please make sure it’s done at least two days before your appointment, to check for any sensitivities to products like lash glue, primer, etc.

How do I book a lash removal?

  • To arrange a removal, message me via Instagram, Facebook, or email somelashgirl@gmail.com. Removals cost £10.

  • If you're an existing client booking a new set, just book the fresh set as normal and let me know if you'd like the old lashes removed.

  • Removals are free for returning clients with a new set booking.

What if I don't know what style to book or choose?

  • If you're unsure, don’t stress, babe—just message me and we can chat about styles! It’s easiest over Instagram or Facebook so you can send over your lash inspo pics.

  • Also, don’t worry if you’re still unsure on the day—before your appointment, we’ll have a quick consultation to discuss your desired look. We’ll talk about curl, length, and style to help create your dream lashes.

I'm pregnant—can I still get lash extensions?

Unfortunately, I don’t offer appointments to pregnant clients due to a few potential risks and limitations:

  • Pregnancy hormones can make your skin and eyes more sensitive, increasing the chance of a reaction.

  • If a reaction does happen, treatment options are limited during pregnancy.

  • Lash appointments can take 2–3 hours lying flat, which may be uncomfortable or affect circulation in later pregnancy stages.

Your safety and comfort come first, and I appreciate your understanding.

Aftercare

How do I look after my eyelashes?

  • Use a Lash shampoo and clean your eyelashes. Lah shampoos are available to purchase at your appointment.

  • Avoiding harsh rubbing and pulling at your eyelashes as you risk damaging your natural eyelashes.

  • Ensure you're using oil-free makeup removers.

  • No Steam or Heat: Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, and hot, steamy showers, as they can weaken the adhesive bond.

  • Monitor for Reactions: If you experience any redness, swelling, or intense itching, contact your lash artist or a healthcare professional.

  • Spoolie Brush: Use a spoolie brush (mascara wand) daily to groom and separate your lashes.

Why are my eyelashes falling out?

  • Eyelashes, like all types of hair, go through a natural growth cycle. Each lash will eventually fall out on its own, bringing the attached extension with it.
It's completely normal to lose a few lash extensions each day as part of this cycle.
However, if you notice an excessive amount of shedding within a short time frame—especially within the first two weeks—it may be caused by other factors.

  • If you experience a lot of lash shedding within the first 3 days of having your eyelash extensions , please contact me via instagram or email.

Health & Safety Information

Eye infections or conditions (e.g. conjunctivitis, styes, blepharitis)

These can spread easily and be aggravated by lash treatments. Applying lashes during an active infection can risk further irritation and transmission.

Skin conditions around the eyes (eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis)

These can cause sensitivity or flaking skin, which affects lash retention and could lead to discomfort or further irritation.

Pregnant or breastfeeding

Hormonal changes can increase skin and eye sensitivity. Plus, in rare cases, allergic reactions could occur and treatment options are more limited during pregnancy.

Recent eye surgery or procedures (in the past 6 months)

Recent eye surgery or procedures (in the past 6 months)

Watery or sensitive eyes

Excessive tearing can affect the adhesive bond and reduce lash retention. Sensitive eyes may react more strongly to fumes during application.

Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment

These treatments can weaken natural lashes and increase risk of irritation or infection. Most lash techs will avoid treatments during this time.

Allergies to adhesives, latex, or cosmetic products

Lash adhesives may contain ingredients that can trigger allergic reactions. Knowing allergies helps you avoid serious issues like swelling, itching, or eye damage.

Use of prescription eye drops

These products can change the texture and growth cycle of natural lashes, affecting how well extensions bond and how long they last.
